Boris Cherny's framing on graph engineering is right and I dont think people are taking it seriously enough yet.
Hundreds of agents, subagents five layers deep. The people designing those graphs have a structural advantage that's not really about the model at all. The model is a commodity. The graph is the IP.
If you're still optimizing prompts you're fighting for scraps at the wrong layer of the stack. What are you actually building the graph on top of?
