How can we help apart from shilling farcaster a bit on Twitter? Perhaps accentuate how cool some features like the channels are? Or the mini-apps? Or the wallet where you end up getting small stuff here and there from activity in farcaster?

Have you considered a referral program? IMO could be as simple as making referrals part of the leaderboard, correcting for actual activity of referred account (i.e. it's not enough to refer people, they also have to be active) or maybe have a separate leaderboard The first wave of mass onboarding was people inviting their friends to farm Degen off eachother. Kinda need a similar thing IMO if we want to see another 20x growth event. I appreciate you guys are probably too conservative for an all out farming campaign, but there might be ways to do this by deputising community members, and rewarding those specific individuals to the dirty work. Also if you can think of a way to incentivise miniapps to grow the farcaster userbase by advertising outside, that would be very helpful too. Each of them has a team and might have some community outside of farcaster, but no specific incentive to make farcaster "the only way to use it"

It's complicated, and I certainly don't know the right way to structure it, but this, in my opinion, is what a Farcaster token could do. Formally & financially align the network to incentivize everyone within it to help grow it.

Personally demonstrating mini apps, how to earn in physical meetups are ways I have seen people get onboarded into farcaster. The current reward system in web3 are airdrops, most folks want to jump on projects with up coming airdrops. We will keep pushing the word and maybe introducing onboarding buddy powered by AI can help people navigate the console better.

FC needs to lift the playbook from every big China social apps which algo-amplify the reach of new users so that they build a following fast and get interactions from early posts. People will join things that have amazing early experience or can make them famous or make them money. Any friction on onboarding, confusing channels and a post shared that gets no comments = dead account.
