If you're actively involved in Telegram groups for crypto trading, would love to hear what features you like most about Telegram for this and what annoys you. Feel free to DM me if easier!

Bots that track the win rate in group chats are really cool that makes it fun and competitive Forced telegram ads are really annoying tho

I can’t think of any feature telegram really has they just have the global distribution which has snowballed and everyone defaults to it I wish I didn’t have to use TG but it’s impossible not to. I was able to disconnect from discord but 100% of BD and trading is done via TG. This might not have been helpful data 🤣

like most: - everyone is there - best UX by far (customizable notifications, muting, folders) - good on mobile and desktop and easy to switch contexts - already on there 24/7 for work do not like: mass surveillance, ~no crypto nativity

Not in any crypto trading groups but honestly FC DCs are a pain. I use DC for tens of daily messages with friends and I'm pushing to move to tg. DCs are too slow especially with images and videos. Sometimes I see the notification but the message takes very long to appear. Older messages are impossible to find. Tg had message search. You can take photos and videos with the camera button.... Many many good features

I've come to love how snappy it goes between unreads, ability to filter certain groupchats & people out of my unread tab, folders, snappy UI and offline modes so I can go read / reply whenever and it's just there next to no wait times. I never bang my head against a why the fuck does this take so long or isn't here in TG for groups the bots are fun like someone posts a ticker and it gives all info about it (similar to ticker like $MORPHO embeds here) + the voice message -> transcript mode and live translation of a chat with premium made me subscribe and resub to it. being able to read whatever someone writes is clutch without having to copy paste that out.

not very active anymore but when i was for a few months last fall + start of this year, it was the ability to copy trades via bots. ability to open up multisigs chats/groups/messages together on a screen (web/app on monitor vs mobile) ability + customization to manage notifications

like using different bots for token info, scanning, trading, etc & ability to open 6-8 groups at once on a large screen - what I do when I lock-in annoying that it doesn’t work on a native macOS app, had to download another one

Mine are for crypto development, not trading but I think it's still relevant. I like clicking a user and easily seeing mutual groups. It makes it easier to detect impersonators. I wish there was a button to quickly scroll to my previous message

I do. And still doing it. Pros: - Faster messages delivery, a group connected to a channel so the information won't be mixed with chats on the group. - Easier reply/forwarding messages within or outside the groups. - Many well developed information bots, API, even a wallet. So, i can execute a trade faster. - easy file sharing. - Fun: STICKERS 🤣 Cons: - sometimes the information will be messy in less organized groups. - need to go back and forth between some apps from telegram, to other apps. Idk, but it's just become daily habit. So i don't struggle with it 😁
