last friday, right after /farcon-rome, @vitalik.eth stopped by the Urbe Hub 🐺
we hosted researchers from the @ethereumfndn together with a few external contributors for a full day of coworking and discussions around Ethereum’s post-quantum roadmap
a little over a year ago, we opened the Urbe Hub with a simple vision:
create a place in rome where builders, researchers, hackers, and people passing through could meet, work side by side, and exchange ideas freely
friday felt like a strong reminder of why we started all this in the first place
seeing people actively shaping Ethereum spending the day here (researching, debating, coworking, sharing ideas) made me realize the space is becoming exactly what we hoped it could be
rome has always been a crossroads for people, cultures, and ideas
it’s beautiful to see it slowly becoming that again for ethereum and frontier tech
