A problem I see with a lot of NFTs today is that they offer little exclusive benefits to collectors (as the underlying content - image, writing, music etc - is generally still available for consumption by non-collectors) I can see 3 possible paths to address this (to then enable NFTs to be appreciated by the mass): 1. Create novel applications that allow collectors to engage in intimate interactions with their NFTs and thereby form deeper connections with the underlying content 2. Attach NFTs with real perks exclusive to collectors (e.g., 1-on-1 with creators, tickets to offline events) 3. Make NFTs opportunities for collectors to share earnings of the underlying content Attaching here an essay I wrote on this subject (which started as a series of reflections on why NFT versions Kpop photocards - an established physical collectible category in the Kpop community - have struggled to gain adoption): https://mirror.xyz/0x665d6188f87204B99cbEEa680A9777D2dd5C13Ea/nrCW4LzE7b4FCv25tn84zEYKt_XByHjGuxg5xOTLF7g
