Bitmine, the largest Ethereum treasury company, has started staking ETH to earn yield. Earlier today, it deposited 74,880 ETH (about $219 million) into Ethereum’s proof-of-stake system, marking its first move into staking. Bitmine currently holds around 4.066 million ETH, and at an estimated annual yield of roughly 3.12%, fully staking its holdings could generate about 126,800 ETH per year, valued at roughly $371 million at the current ETH price of around $2,927.
