I saw a lot of social media influencers talking about the best and most expensive king cake. I treated myself to two galettes for my birthday, for a total of €140. Maison Béchard in Aix-en-Provence was offering a galette with its own unique blend. There was a line outside, which is usually a sign of popularity. It was very good and generously filled an unforgettable experience, but still a bit expensive for a king cake.
