🕊️ For Greta and those who are raising awareness to what’s happening in Gaza 🕊️ 📖 Greta and the Giants by Zoë Tucker & Zoë Persico is a beautifully illustrated story inspired by Greta Thunberg—reminding young readers that one voice can spark big change. This empowering book shows how children can stand up for the world and demand a better future. @zoe_tucker_design @zoepersicoart @quartokids 💪 ☮️ Highlighting humanitarians like Greta is more important than ever—not only for her climate advocacy but also her courage today, as she speaks out against the suffering in Gaza. Her voice continues to challenge injustice and call for peace, showing kids that standing up for what’s right extends across all causes. ✨ A must-read for raising the next generation of compassionate changemakers. ✨ #gazaceasefirenow #ceasefirenow #gaza

🌎✨ June is National Immigrant Heritage Month! A time to celebrate the stories, resilience, and contributions of immigrants who have shaped the U.S. and the world. One of the best ways to honor immigrant heritage? By reading and sharing powerful stories of immigration, family, and identity! 📖 Here are four incredible children’s books to celebrate immigrant heritage: 📚 Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Immigrant Women Who Changed the World by Elena Favilli – A collection of inspiring biographies featuring 100 immigrant women who have made history in science, activism, the arts, and beyond. 📚 Areli is a Dreamer: A True Story by Areli Morales – A moving picture book memoir of Areli Morales, a DACA recipient, sharing her journey as an undocumented child immigrant and her dreams of a brighter future. 📚 Book Spotlight: The ABCs of Queer History by Dr. Seema Yasmin, illustrated by Lucy Kirk 🌈 This vibrant and engaging picture book introduces children to Queer history, celebrating trailblazing figures, momentous events, and key LGBTQIA+ terms—all while reinforcing early literacy through letter recognition. With concise facts on every page and in-depth details in the back, young readers (and adults!) can explore the rich history of Queer activism, resilience, and identity. 🫶🏻 I love how this book: ✨ Makes Queer, non-fiction history available for young readers ✨ Includes clear definitions and explanations for LGBTQIA+ terms✨ The ABC format cultivates early literacy skills through letter/alphabet recognition✨ Uses bold, colorful illustrations that captivate and inspire✨ Encourages curiosity, inclusion, and understanding from an early age (1/2)

📚 Books bring adventures to life! ❄️ While visiting my family in Oregon, my husband (@plantsnft) and I decided to take a quick trip up to Mount Hood and spend a day skiing! 🎿 I pair our experience with one of my favorite board book series: “Good Night Ski Mountain” by Adam Gamble & Mark Jasper, illustrated by Ute Simon. 🫶🏻 This durable board book is perfect for traveling families—it’s easy to pack and lets little ones see their experiences represented in the pages. ✨The “Good Night” series includes cities from across the United States and world as well as other unique spots similar to Ski Mountain like: North Pole, Galaxy, Coral Reef & more! It also includes people: Good Night Daddy, Mommy, New Baby, Puppies & more! AND they have Spanish titles, books specific to Bath Time, and counting! 📚Wherever you might be traveling this Thanksgiving Holiday, bring some of your little’s favorite books! 📖
