In 2013, I wrote custom software to generate G-Code directly, bypassing the standard slicer. I spent 10 months testing how ABS filament behaves when you move the print head in all 3 axes at once. No layers, just one continuous, collapsing line. Documented the full "Filament Sculptures" research process here: https://www.liaworks.com/theprojects/filament-sculptures-generative-art-as-physical-object/

"Waves" (2016). Not a fluid simulation. Just sine waves affecting the Y-position of elements moving along X. Simple rules, complex motion. Exhibited at my solo show 'Coding Life' and the PLUGIN section at Contemporary Istanbul. Full doc: https://www.liaworks.com/theprojects/waves-a-generative-video-installation/ #2021
