As an emergency room doctor or nurse, what screams "this is going to be a difficult patient!"?
I'll keep it short and sweet.
If a farmer is being brought in by their partner it's bad news. They really are tough hardy people. If they are coming in it's definitely serious.
If a farmer comes in by themselves…GRAB. THE. CRASH. CART!!!
They will walk in with half their arm missing like nothing has happened. In fact, probably the only reason they are coming in is because they couldn't find some spare shoe laces to stitch their arm back on.
Farmers I love and appreciate what you do, but you guys do scare me a little.
