I like the individual who said this so cropping their name, but this is the artist’s entitlement I used to really harp on in 21-23. What is not being said here is that they (the archetype of artists) also “expect” reward at the end of this funnel. A funnel that describes being a “hobbyist.” Wouldn’t it be nice if it were that easy.

this is true for some and the number grows fewer each day. most of my time is spent channeling creative energy into ideas on how to add value and lasting entertainment to art, or apply art to utility in perfect harmony.
