The story with the hint about 17 December has already blown up to the level where people say there will definitely be a token from @coinbase but if you look at it soberly the chance can still be the same 3 percent. People love to draw their own scenarios about a big ICO for @base.base.eth to count some future airdrop and to build plans about how to sell everything at the top. To me it looks more like we can easily get a much more modest result in the form of an announcement of the first episode of Up Only from Cobie and then it will become clear who really knew how to manage risk and who was living only in dreams.

I keep finding myself thinking that the biggest advantage of @base.base.eth is not some clever technology but simple human laziness. People do not want to deal with bridges and setups they want everything to work as one simple system. Coinbase is already on many phones and the move from there to Base feels like just another screen in the same app. There are no crazy barriers you just jump in and start moving through protocols and games. Because of this on the timeline you see real devs and creators more and more often instead of endless shills.

I like how @base.base.eth welcomes new people. You open the app and you do not need ten tabs and guides to figure things out. Everything is calmly laid out step by step. For me this is important because most blockchains throw the user into chaos. Here you feel that they do not scare you with complexity and instead they pull you closer to the onchain world.
