In the period following the launch of $DEGEN and the peak of frames, a narrative briefly took hold — also pushed by Moxie — that the next generation of creators and influencers would emerge from FC itself. That narrative matters, and I think we need to bring it back. It matters because it frames FC/TBA not only as distribution rails, but as environments capable of producing their own cultural and economic actors. There is a recurring temptation to believe that importing Web2 creators is a significant growth lever. To some extent, this works — but primarily as a source for content diversity. If FC and TBA are to compound as social systems, they must be places where creators are actually forged and can make a living. Their success becomes social proof that no manifesto can replace.
