Deep space! The #JamesWebb Telescope has observed part of the same region of the sky that we previously saw in the famous #Hubble Ultra Deep Field image. This is the longest extragalactic observation by the James Webb #Telescope to date, with a total exposure of about 100 hours for the MIRI instrument. It also uses data from another instrument, NIRCam. In one image, we see more than 2,500 #galaxies, some of which date back to the very early #Universe.
