No cap, @augustuscaesar is an actual factual economist, and his hit rate is supremely high on economic forecasts over the last 24 months. Even when I challenge him, correctly, his ability to point out his own biases and update his models is not something I typically see from smarter people . He still a charlatan tho.

I think since this is Trump related it can go in this channel. I think it’s irresponsible and myopic as fuck to say shit like the Trump coin isn’t a big deal because they people who we want in crypto will see through the ruse. By definition, people don’t know what they don’t know. Seeing the president, ostensibly the most powerful man in the world, launching and rigging a memecoin will absolutely set the reference narrative for scores of would be on chain citizens and give fire to the idea that all crypto is just a Ponzi scheme. Idgaf what party you support, this was terrible for crypto
