that’s right! In 1820’s most people made clothes at home and well off people bought from tailors and seamstresses. In 1920’s people bought clothes from department stores, Lord & Taylor & Saks Fifth Av were popular. In 2024, people buy online, clothes are made thousands of miles away from the stores they are sold, nobody makes clothes at home, barely anyone uses tailors or seamstresses and Lord & Taylor went bankrupt and Amazon bought the Lord & Taylor building. Pay per click online model is broken when Temu can spend $1 billion dollars on Facebook ads a year to send you disposal clothing. Web3 communities have tons of potential for the future. LFG
