Just for a reference, in Brazil, $200 is a 2-person monthly grocery expense - except that our minimum wage is a bit over $200. So, if in a home one is unemployed, they'll have to make choices.
I also don't know how they make it. The inflation is just hitting the US, we, on the "developing world", are almost used to it.. like, it's so common it doesn't even surprise us anymore.
Idk how argentinians live, for example.
