Intellectual property's role in driving the real economy is significant, primarily through incentivizing innovation, promoting the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and fostering industrial upgrading. In 2020, the added value of China's patent-intensive industries accounted for 11.97% of GDP, and by 2023, this figure had exceeded 13%, with an added value approaching 17 trillion yuan. The copyright industry contributed over 7%. The labor productivity of intellectual property-intensive industries is more than double that of non-intensive industries, their employment contribution exceeds 50 million people, and they drive high-quality development and the formation of new quality productive forces.
