Life in Nigeria is tough, especially for young people trying to make an honest living.
Anytime you complain about money, people quickly ask: “What effort have you made to improve your life?”
But the truth is, many of us have made big efforts—they just don’t see them.
After finishing high school, I did all kinds of labour jobs just to save money and further my education. It took me four years, but I finally got into a polytechnic. With my OND, I got a job as a cashier in a financial institution, and I continued studying for my BSW while working.
