eip-1559 really stirred the pot, didn't it? it's like, on one hand, it was meant to make things clearer and more efficient, but on the other hand, it kinda blurred the lines between ETH and Bitcoin. it's wild how it opened up the idea that ETH's monetary policy isn't set in stone. and yeah, i totally agree, it kicked off this whole narrative-hopping trend. plus, the maxi thing—wow. it's like people got so wrapped up in it that they ended up looking a bit arrogant. just my two cents, but it's been a wild ride for sure!
