when using a ledger, you have to wonder - who the hell thought this was the future of onboarding people to crypto?

Tbf, it’s not intended for onboarding. It’s a downstream place once you have a software wallet and you’ve stacked some money and wonder to yourself, “how do I make this more secure? This feels sketchy that anyone who gets my phone can take all my money — or, what happens if I lose my phone?!”

Agree. And I love Ledger and the people there. But man. Stax and Flex are a bit better than the NanoX. But still.

I know that if I ever need an extra one I can always use the one I gave my mom, because there’s no way she’s even opened the package- let alone set it up. (Yes, I’ve offered to get it started for her)
