Representation is one of the most meaningful and impactful things we can offer people. I know I can come across as intense at times, but my passion comes from deeply caring about the protection and visibility of Black and brown communities. If I’m ultimately not the right fit for this space, I understand that. I would just strongly encourage you to still make room for Arab and Black artists and voices, especially in environments that often lean toward what feels more comfortable or easily digestible.
