We have a tradition on Christmas where he takes us all out as a family and really makes the day feel very special. And he’s been consistent with it. Year in, year out. Birthdays are not left out as well.
It has just shaped me in such a beautiful way that I’ve learnt to celebrate everything. Every milestone, every special day. Because at the end of the day, we only live life once

we only live once and I want to spend as much special time with my parents as possible inshallah 😭

There was a particular type of food we would cook and I loved it because even though we ate the same thing throughout the year
