A brief intro to web3
Web3 can simply be said to be the evolution of the internet from its onset till date
beginning from web1 ,2 and now 3.
Web1: This era of the internet spans from 1989 to 2004 depending on regions. In this era
information’s are dispersed from a centralized (Single location or server) portals examples
like YAHOO (1994) and promotion sites like SPACE JAM (1996). Web1 is popularly known as
the read only web (users can only read news or any available updates), not that sharing
wasn’t allowed but sharing of data was restricted to a particular set of people with certain
liberties like gadgets and skills (technical or knowledge of programming).
