Web3: This is the newest of the evolutions of the internet which simply put gives power
back to the users to control their data and its usage (Decentralization) so its popularly
called the Read-Write-Own era of the internet and it’s foundation began from 2009 with
the launch of BITCOIN but the WEB3 ecosystem took shape fully in 2014 till present
which instead of centralized databases or servers runs-on the blockchain technology
which is transparent , secured and immutable.
1. Web3 presents users with authority and a sense of belonging via the Decentralized
Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) as users can now not only control how their data are
being used and shared they can also give suggestions and vote on features/updates they
would love to have on Decentralized Applications (dApps), and also provide other
sources of financing i.e. Decentralized finance (DeFi).
