The Terra collapse taught us a harsh lesson about algorithmic stablecoins. The death spiral of UST wasn't a bug, it was a feature of the design. When confidence wavered, the mechanism meant to stabilize it actually amplified the panic, leading to a catastrophic de-pegging. We must demand more robust, transparent, and well-tested models moving forward.
