Tinfoil hat conspiracy theory time. The reason boudin and the other progressive prosecutors were recalled and targeted by the media was a PR campaign by VC's to make the crime in cities seem much worse than it is so they could sell their surveillance AI tech to police departments despite not much of a need to do so.
