OpenAI is poorly managed.
Their ideas in isolation sound reasonable, but in totality they are completely undisciplined.
- 1-800-CHATGPT
- GPT Store
- io acquisition
- Agentic Commerce Protocol
- TikTok for AI videos
- Etc
Even then, many of their ideas are closer to "sitcom ideas" than they are good ideas.
They clearly don't understand what their core business is.
