Hi everyone, posting here for the first time. As a fan of aviation I thought I’d share some departure and arrival procedures that I find interesting. Here’s an arrival procedure to JFK called the Canarsie approach. If you follow the arrows you’ll see a right turn pretty close to the runway.

Here is the river approach to DCA. The challenge here is to stay on course following the Potomac, then a right turn at low altitude close to landing, and an absolute prohibition against entering the shaded area, which is a prohibited area including the White House and Capitol.
