The “old guard” is responsible for the core of farcaster’s visual identity, aesthetics and culture. The “old guard” provided feedback continuously and without expectation of reward for years that led to significant improvements in the overall feel of the main farcaster client. The “old guard” had people who built way more interesting things than memes on top of Farcaster. not my place to tell anyone how to do their job but if “old guard” is the term for the people who enriched farcaster’s culture for years with more to offer than over explained reasons to buy coins that do nothing then clearly farcaster will turn to CT before long and every post will be selling you some dumb shit.
