When we were building Quiz Trivia, the thing that mattered least was the feature set.
What mattered most was Friday.
Every week, the same pattern: a GM → a topic → people showing up.
No incentives. No pressure. Just curiosity and consistency.
That’s when it clicked for me:
on-chain products don’t win by being addictive — they win by becoming rituals.
Rituals create comfort.
Comfort creates participation.
Participation is what quietly brings people on-chain.
Quiz Trivia worked not because it was “on-chain,” but because it respected a habit people already loved.
On-chain just made the ritual permanent.
If we want more people on-chain,
we should stop chasing attention
and start building moments people want to return to.
What’s a ritual that keeps you coming back?
