Is "Proof of Reserves" really meaningful? Because to me it looks like exchanges are just putting off-chain data on the blockchain, obfuscating the mechanism of how it works with buzzwords and hoping the marketing aspect of it is valuable.

Nothing has a greater reduction in mortality than exercise (both cardiovascular and weight lifting) - no drug or diet comes close. In fact, exercise reduces your chance of mortality *more* than being a smoker and giving up smoking. Not to mention the benefits it has when it comes to mobility and injury prevention.
