Zama – Bringing True Privacy to the Blockchain
I’ve heard a lot about “data privacy on blockchain,” but it wasn’t until I learned about Zama and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) that I truly understood what real confidentiality in a decentralized world looks like.
In simple terms, FHE allows data to be processed without ever being decrypted. That means even while the system is computing or verifying it, the data remains encrypted — no one, not even the blockchain itself, can see the actual content.
That’s exactly what the Zama Protocol is building.
