What are some tips for deciding if a cruise drink package is a good deal for you and your travel companion?
As someone who used to work on a cruise ship and is currently a bartender 6 years and counting, the answer is SHOCKINGLY SIMPLE.
If the numbers aren’t obvious to you - YOU don’t drink enough for the package to be worth it.
Here’s the thing … drinking is slightly a sport. You know how to play or you don’t. There is no right or wrong way to be when it comes to drinking… but drink packages are specifically sold, knowing the average person doesn’t know the value of the basic drink compared to what they drink.
Seasoned drinkers will see the prices and it will or won’t make sense for them. PERIOD.
But if you don’t know… then the answer is NO. You don’t drink enough for the savings to be worth it.
