Actual travel hack that will save you $1k+ in 🇮🇪 + 🇯🇲

Vast majority of credit card coverage does NOT include Ireland + Jamaica.

They will not rent to you unless you have insurance and surprise…theirs costs $$$. 

We had four seperate people in line in front of us find out the hard way 😫

If your credit card doesn’t offer coverage: 
1. Find a policy with a provider like Allianz a couple weeks before you go. 
2. Make sure you have pdf or print out that shows your name (you will be required to present it). 
3. Get ready for a bit of a confrontation at the desk. They will try to convince you that you are making a dramatic mistake and will put a $5k hold on your credit card (just got mine back today). Stick to the plan and don’t get pressured into it. 
4. Don’t forget your ID! Passports needed to travel internationally so tourists can forget it’s needed to drive.
