Abstract painting does not need explanation to be valid or powerful.
Its strength often lies in direct, wordless emotional or sensory impact—color, form, texture, and rhythm speak before language arrives.Explanation can deepen understanding, reveal the artist’s intention, or open new layers for some viewers.
For others, it dilutes the raw experience and kills mystery.Both attitudes are legitimate.
