This is the site plan of the Acropolis Museum in Athens. At the top is the Parthenon of the Acropolis, while below lies the museum itself with a floor dedicated entirely to the temple. The dimensions, layout, and orientation of this hall replicate the temple exactly, creating an ideal stone shadow of the Parthenon to house its surviving sculptures.
