i think the risk is pretty obviously higher (building on a 3y old platform is always inherently risky) and the reward uncertain (the model is novel, you dont really have stake in nouns per default) i dont know it that merits higher pay though -- mostly bc i think the risk/reward nature of nouns swings both ways (if you take a bet on nouns today and it becomes a world phenomena, youre probably gonna do okay..even if not 'found a $B startup okay')
