My First Job.
My first official tax-paid job was as a camp counselor at a children's camp by the sea.
It was the best job of my life๐
I was 17 years old and spent three summer months at the sea.
My kids were between 13 and 19 years old, in order for the kids to listen I had to run the legend that I was already the dreaded 25 years old๐
It was cool, breakfast at 9:00, then the sea until 11:00.
Then lunch and quiet time (which wasn't quiet at all).
Then sea till 17:00, dinner and disco for kids till 22:00.
After midnight, when all children were put to bed, the second life for the counselors began. We went to the disco and hung out there until 5 am. After it was necessary to have time to sleep and at 9 to bring children for breakfast. Mornings were hard ๐คช
And so it was all summer.
My salary was about 110$ a month, it was not bad, many counselors worked there without pay, just for food and accommodation at sea.
