An evening conversation with my girlfriend:
Me: Honey, is your mom coming to visit us tomorrow?
Her: I’m not sure, maybe she will.
Me: Well, we weren’t bombed today -maybe the night will be quiet, and then she’ll come.
Both funny and sad - this is an absolutely real and routine conversation…
P.S. Sadly, we were bombed again during the night, so the visit is canceled for now
