Reading Sophie’s World Already read around 50% of it. It’s a crash course in the history of philosophy. I’m not sure who is going to like this book. People who have already read philosophy probably don’t need it because it only outlines the ideas of various philosophers without going deep into any of them. And people who are interested in philosophy and want to start reading it might get demotivated after seeing just how much there is to learn. Although I’m not sure about that. The good thing is that it’s a light read compared to the actual books it talks about (obviously), and it can be a source of inspiration for choosing a few of those books to read.
