Are they as romantic and wild as they depict the Scottish shores and its castles? Absolutely! I took a nice walk from Stonehaven harbour amidst the beautiful whin-bushes lacing the steep cliffs to find myself thrown back in time. Dunnottar Castle has witnessed many sad and painful stories over the years.
