Appreciation 05/04/26 Star Wars - Today I want to appreciate this movie franchise and the glory it has brought to many lives that have seen it! The Star Wars movies were so far ahead of their time and it’s fitting that today is May the 4th and May the 4th be with you if you too are a Star Wars fan! I bought myself some Lego that I plan to do with the significant other and also plan on having a movie marathon tonight! My dog Benji is my joy! Whether I’ve had a bad or good day, he always greets me with the same love and enthusiasm every day. He’s truly the best dog I could ever ask for and I am thankful for him! He brings me the Marie Kondo type of joy when you’re done tidying up your home 😋

Hong Kong style lunch - I took my significant other to try some Hong Kong style lunch and he thought it was delicious! This was the egg fried rice, sirloin steak, peppercorn sauce and a side of broccoli! It came on a hot plate! I appreciate how good the food was and how great the price point was for this wonderful meal! Hope everyone has enjoyed their Saturday! Thanks again @commstark ❤️ Streak 687!

Appreciation 05/21/26 New BBQ joint - A new Texas style BBQ restaurant opened up near my house and I went there for lunch. I got the beef brisket, side of fries and coleslaw. I appreciate how moist the meat was and how fresh and acidic the coleslaw was. It really helped cut through the fat in the meat. I haven’t had real Texas BBQ but I imagine this is the closest I’ll get to living in Canada. I’ll definitely be back to try something else on the menu. Wishing y’all a great day!
