Mmh.. If you're not comfortable with lootboxes, you can get a couple of common mons for 5-7$ on the secondary I wrote this some months ago, it really depends on your strategy in game. If you get a rare Mon, better lvl up them high. Otherwise you can grind in the hope to resell your item. Idk what @matthewfox team is cooking but I like the game so far so...
