In practice, each vehicle would be associated with a non-fungible token (NFT) that carries its entire lifecycle record. The white paper also points to a possibility where vehicle NFTs could be traded or acquired without physical possession of the underlying car, introducing a fresh interpretation of mobility-as-an-asset.
