Here's the tension with $PRO that nobody's talking about

People (myself included) want upside in Farcaster's success.

Merkle (rightfully so) controls the Farcaster app roadmap.

Our only true leverage is the traction that $PRO (or any other lever) brings to the network. 

So, it's really up to us. Are we doing this?

My take is that most people don't even know what is it we are doing yet

If we don't know what we're doing, then we're doomed to fail.

Id feel safe and confident guessing that 75% of the people who claimed have never participated in governance voting

But yeah like you said at the end of the day it's the merkle team that drives the bus
