Since launch, we’ve prioritized security and public-good alignment over growth and learned a ton running this in the wild. Since the Pectra activation, we've seen consistent validator exits due to many solo stakers opting for type 2 validators, which aren't fairly taken into account in Smoothly V1. Over the last year we explored a more ambitious V2 design, linked below, which takes into account MaxEB and does not require an oracle. Despite real progress, V2 has been blocked by an overly complex multi-proof system due to the various ways builders can pay proposers.
