Crypto’s biggest killer app in 2025 might not be finance—it might be identity. Zero-knowledge verification is quietly becoming standard: age checks, KYC, proof-of-humanity, proof-of-work, proof-of-intelligence. The world is moving toward identity-based access, but the choice is dystopia (centralized digital ID) or sovereignty (self-sovereign identity). ZK could give us privacy, compliance, and convenience simultaneously—but only if we get it right. Otherwise, regulators will build digital identity without us. And that world is one we don't want to live in.
