An ancient whale/institution that obtained 1 million ETH through the Ethereum ICO woke up today after being dormant for 4 years and deposited 150,000 ETH ($646 million) into Ethereum staking.
◎ They initially obtained 1 million ETH through 3 addresses during the Ethereum ICO in 2015, with the last operation being 4 years ago (2021/7): transferring 55,000 ETH to Gemini when the ETH price was $2,462.
◎ They should still hold about 250,000 ETH ($1.1 billion): 150,000 deposited in staking + 100,000 remaining in the address.
