Decentralization isn't the problem. It's the solution. I've seen phrases like 'overly decentralized' be thrown out in relation to being more practical in DeFi from people I respect in the space. I'd say this is the wrong choice of phrase. A decentralized system is either designed to be efficient or it is not, but the assumption should never be: Decentralization === lack of efficiency Decentralization can, in fact, be more efficient and secure than centralization. If a protocol has a single source of failure, or if taking down a handful of nodes renders it useless, that is not efficient, is it? Let's be practical. Let's make efficient, decentralized systems, but never assume decentralization means a lack of efficiency. Kintsu governance will be one of those outliers shining a light on how efficient decentralization can be. In the context of liquid staking, any L1 that does not bake LSTs natively into the network needs this to avoid 3rd party LSPs becoming a virus to the network over time.
